Aussie rockers The Temper Trap brought an epic, swirling sound to the Pageant along with a very atmospheric lighting treatment. While lighting was generally very low for this performance, the energy of the fans and the band members themselves made this a fun shoot.
Photographer's Notes:
Prime lenses saw a lot of use here, though I eventually was able to switch to f/2.8 zooms as the lighting opened up for a few songs during the Temper Trap's set.
Going into this set, I knew that I'd be disappointed in myself if I didn't nail at least one shot of singer Dougy Mandagi with his expressive hands raised.
