One of my new favorite bands to photograph, Greek Fire, put on a killer set at Pointfest 29, taking full advantage of the festival setup and serving up some prime photo material.
This was only the second time I've photographed Greek Fire, but going in I already had very high expectations after their performance opening for Incubus weeks earlier.

I can fully say that Greek Fire met my expectations and more for this performance. If anything, the festival setup was an even better showcase for Greek Fire's dynamic interaction with the crowd on the part of frontman Moon.
Moon is a guy that seems to be in the crowd as much as he's on stage, and it was a blast chasing him around for three songs.
There are some bands where you have to work angles or timing to an extreme degree just to try to squeeze something dynamic from a still image. Greek Fire are not one of those bands.
Every one of the band members is a great subject in their own right, so there's always plenty to shoot with these guys.
A big highlight from the quick three songs was when singer Moon came out over the crowd on a red mattress, which was a great photo op.
