At the end of the show, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros frontman Alex Ebert eyed the barricade separating fans from the stage and asked the audience if they could climb a wall. As if thinking better of having hundreds of fans climbing onto the stage, Ebert eased himself down and sat down in the middle of the pit as he sung the final song of the night.
Photographer's Notes:
Primes, primes, primes. Well, at least two primes: the Nikon 50mm f/1.4 and Nikon 85mm f/1.4 rules for this set. The only time I broke out zooms were during the very last song to capture tight and wide shots of Alex Ebert in pit staging a his love in.
For most of this set, I shot wide open at ISO 3200 and around 1/100.
