Opening up for Motörhead, the Reverend Horton Heat laid down a searing set of psychobilly that was characterized by bright backlighting and warm color washes.

The lighting for this was challenging, as it was primarily backlit, but it was gorgeous in comparison to the treatment Motörhead would later receive.
I shot this set with the Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 for most of the images of Jim “Reverend Horton” Heath, while Jimbo Wallace on the upright demanded the Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 due to his position farther back and due to monitors blocking off lower angles.
