While the set as a whole was over the top – which is saying a lot of Dillinger Escape Plan – one of the true highlights was seeing the band's original vocalist, Dimitri Minakakis, take the stage at the end of the set to close out the show.
Greg Puciato and the band are intense enough, but add in Dimitri into the mix and it was like a double-barreled shotgun of crushing metal. Hit the jump for another preview snap of one of my favorite shots of Ben Weinman.

Of course the lead shot was made at 14mm with the Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8. The light you see at the left of the frame is actually catchflash from another photographer who was shooting off-camera with a speedlight.
For the second shot of Ben, that's at 20mm. Gotta love a good ultra-wide lens!
