Mumford & Sons seemed to be easily one of the most anticipated shows of 2011 at the Pageant, and one of the fastest sell-outs of any show in the 10-years the venue has been open.

This was an all-primes show. I had the Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 in the bag, but that's where it stayed. For me, the three songs for this shoot flew by.
The first song consisted of incandescent uplights on the band with no other accents. The second song saw a more lush treatment, but this came the form of a blue wash from the back with weaker orange/magenta from the front.
The stand-out of the set for photography was easily the third song, which saw a much fuller splash of white-ish lighting from the front, but, more importantly, some beautifully gobo-ed light from the back of the stage.
