When do concert photographers get to shoot at ridiculous exposures like 1/500, f/4, and ISO 400? When legendary guitar players like Mark Knopfler play the Fabulous Fox Theater, that's when.
Photographer's Notes:
Here's something you don't hear very often about a concert: This show was blindingly bright.
When Mark Knopfler came out on stage and the spots came on, I didn't think too much of it when the lights warmed up. Except, that instead stopping at the standard level, the spotlight just kept getting brighter. Knopfler was practically glowing.
The average exposure for this set was around 1/500, f/4, and ISO 400. Pretty blazing.
