One of the bands I was personally looking forward to at The Bamboozle was the Gaslight Anthem. I'd caught the band opening for Rise Against back in 2008 before they broke, and was excited to see them on the on one of the big stages at Bamboozle in front of a “home town” crowd.

The Gaslight Anthem's set reminded me of Dashboard Confession's in terms of the treatment – both sets focused mainly on lighting the singer and much of the treatment came in the form of colored backlights with just a hint of light from high above.
Still, looking back, Gaslight Anthem received one of the more lush lighting treatments with plenty of haze over the stage to pick up the high backlights.
The trickiest part of this set was probably the frontlighting on Brian Fallon's face, which created very deep shadows. I found that waiting until he tilted his chin made for the cleanest photos, but even then there were pretty deep shadows over his eyes, since there were no spotlights used for the set and all front lighting came from almost straight down.
