In their annual takeover of the Pageant, El Monstero did what they do best: channel Pink Floyd in an epic, nearly three-hour set and blow everyone's minds with a fantastic production that most national club tours can't touch.

Awesome lighting for El Monstero, though a little tricky given the intense saturation of the colored lights. Thankfully, El Monstero are a group that allow photographers full-set shooting access, which is a beautiful thing. These images are from shooting for approximately half of their set, or a little more than an hour or so.
As you can see, there was a ton of variation in lighting for the time I shot – again, a nice perk of having more than just a couple of songs to shoot.
El Monstero have been doing these shows at the Pageant for years and years – I'm looking forward to seeing what they bring out for their next residency.
