Shooting Caitlin Rose and band before the Old 97s was a fantastic warm up, and a nice way to dust off the old 50mm and 85mm f/1.4 primes, which once again proved to be a great two-lens combo for venues like The Pageant.

While I did use the Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 for couple wider shots of the group, I shot this set almost exclusively with the Nikon 50mm f/1.4 and Nikon 85mm f/1.4 primes.
