One of the performers I was most looking forward to checking out at The Bamboozle 2011 was the singer Bruno Mars. Having caught him performing on Saturday Night Live and seeing his moves, I was curious to see him live from the pit. Needless to say, Bruno Mars didn't disappoint.
What he have lack in stature, Mars more than makes up in pure charisma. The guy is just cool, cool, cool.

Cameras Used:
- Nikon D3
- Nikon D700
Lenses Used:
Bruno Mars put on a really fun show. Between a bit of dancing, smooth moves, golden sunset light, and just a cool performance overall, there was plenty to shoot during the three allotted songs. I was especially pleased that Bruno Mars hit a bit of the golden light of the day, even if was a little early for the full-blast sunset.
Just as for the entire festival, I shot Bruno Mars with the Nikon D3 and D700 with the Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 and Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8, respectively. This combo worked out great – as much as I love my 14-24mm f/2.8, it's just too much of a specialty lens for the big stages of a festival like Bamboozle.
