The Ludo Christmas show at the Pageant has become something of a cult tradition in recent years, with the 2011 edition bringing out what seemed like several metric tones of Santa hats, elf ears, confetti, and of course an appearance by old Saint Nick himself.

Cameras Used:
- Nikon D3
- Nikon D700

First off, big shout out to the guys in Ludo for always treating me well at their shows and making me feel welcome. It's kind of a nice feeling when a band just kinda assumes that you're going to be shooting from the stage. Even better when the band kindly reminds you to watch out for the confetti cannons on certain songs.
The only tricky thing about this show is the fact that Ludo always lines the front of the stage with Christmas decorations, so it's not really a great shoot from the pit. I found myself shooting more from the stage than anywhere.
In terms of gear, the Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 was most used from the pit, while I used the Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 and Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8 more on stage.
