Hi Todd,

These are awesome, as always. I've been following your site since I saw you working at the Paul Van Dyk gig a little while ago. Fantastic stuff!

I'm wondering if you'll be shooting Metallica at Scottrade on 11/17? I'm a big fan of theirs and I'd love to see what you'd get there. And I would be interested in prints :)

Again, great site!

Hey Chris!

Thanks for your picks. I, too, opted for #1 in place of the alternate because I preferred the interest added by the sun in the frame.

The 14-24mm definitely got a lot of use during this set, in part due to Chamberlain's friendliness with the crowd.

Thanks again!

Yo yo yo! I dig 1, 7, and 8. 1 was a throw up between it and the one what looked just like it, but in the end the lighting and energy coming from 1 just beat it out [I like the sun in the photo :P]. 7 is a nice change up [but agree... getting Chamberlain more was probably a good idea] from the set, and it is a nice vertical shot of him on guitar. [Nice nipple, too]. I like the close-uppedness [yeah, I said it!] of 8, and of course his hand is in the air, so that just doubles your points.

Fav. is probably 3 [or between 1 and 3]. I love his leg leading the viewer into the photo. Plus, it's the 14-24, so I'll give you 17 points for that. And then there's keith [I think?] on the far left, so you can have another 2 points.

Niiiice set, man!

[I hated the lighting last night... I have nothing from the first 3 bands... wow.]

Thanks, Keath, the 14-24mm certainly helped for that shot!

Hey Keith, thanks for the feedback. Between the frenzied performance and quick songs, I shot Chamberlain almost exclusively. I don't regret that choice, though I do wish I had one shot of Aaron Gillespie on vocals/drums.

But alas, Spencer was too magnetic for me to tear my lens away from him for very long.

I freakin LOVE 1 and 3. Chamberlain was DEF the center of attention with these guys. Not a disappointment photo wise. The wider the better for sure. I hope JM turned out well!
