Just a little teaser from the phenomenal Semi Precious Weapons show last Friday night. I’m experiencing some tech issues that have prevented me from processing the images, but you can read all about it shortly. If you want the simple chapbook version: it was epic.

Ha, thanks for the kind sentiment, though your shots of SPW were great. I kind of missed the close interaction with the band that your shots showed so well.
I think I am going to have to send my computer to Apple for service…

Haha, Feist is an interim solution. One can always pull the shot from the pool and re-upload.
This was a killer show, Chris. Another world apart from their small club show I saw four months ago, but the intensity and pure fun still filled the Pageant as far as I was concerned.

Hey Ami, no flash used for this particular shot. I did turn it off when I thought the light looked interesting/good enough, and this was one instance where it was nice.
About the ear things, yeah, a little bit of serendipity.
You can see here how the background lighting was a bit thin at times, but the performance by these guys overpowered it all for a fantastic show.
