Yup, the light was nice and bright – gotta love the double spotlights.

Thanks for your picks. J. Holiday might not be as pretty as Trey Songz, but he's got more mojo.

I think the D3 is definitely a little warmer than the D2x, and the new camera does hold color saturation much, much better at high ISO. Compounding those two factors was the color temperature of the lights themselves, which was generally pretty warm itself.

Thanks for your picks, bro.

Wow, 1/320 at ISO 1600. I'll take that any day.

Sadly, I would probably shoot that at ISO 3200 and f/4.0 just because I can't trust my camera to focus.

My pics are definitely 1,5,11 and 16. There is something so Michael Jackson about number 11. I also love the light coming through the paper hat.

Is it just me or is the color on the D3 much more orange than the D2X?

It could be that the images are just retaining a lot more saturation than the D2X at such high ISOs but I think they're actually warmer towards orange.

When comparing the 1Dmk3 and the D3, I think the default colors of the 1Dmk3 are warm towards reds and the D3 warm towards orange.

Hey G, thanks. The lights were nice and bright -- D3 or not, they were nice and bright and allowed me to stop down plenty to get these shots with a fast shutter speed.
