Walking back from the promo shoot, Brian and Amanda of the Dresden Dolls saw the line waiting outside the venue and Amanda remarked that it would be great if I could get a few shots of the crowd. Ever happy to oblige, I headed over to make a few snaps of the fans waiting for doors.
Lighting:
I used a Nikon SB-800 speedlight on an SC-28 off-camera sync cord and popped the flash at arm’s length. TTL metering, nothing fancy.

You take amazing pictures and i should really look at your tutorials! I do look scary on the picture you took of me though
