I’m pleased to announce that I’ve joined the concert photography collective RockFoto. The group is based in Sweden and brings together the country’s best rock photogs, and also acts as a stock agency that supplies newspapers and magazines with event coverage.
Currently, RockFoto consists of about 25 photographers covering events in Sweden, while the international base has several other photographers in Europe and two US contributors, myself included.
My brother Chris tipped me off to the group earlier this year and noted that they were looking for foreign contributors. After looking through the group’s portfolio, which includes some of the very best concert photography being done today, I was sold.
If you have a chance, definitely check out the group’s extensive band listing. Many of the RockFoto photographers seem to favor a wide-angle aesthetic, which really picks up a lot of the energy and atmosphere of live music. I’m excited to begin contributing to the group, so stay tuned for updates.

Thanks, Tor! Ha, not sure if anything would be picked up by the press on the other side of the Atlantic, but I suppose we’ll see. Thanks for the support! I may have other news along these lines, but I will keep you posted as that develops…
