The Swedish trio Peter Bjorn and John performed at the Pageant this past Tuesday to a small crowd, backed by Springfield Missouri’s favorite indie-sons, Someone Still Loves You Boris Yelstin.
With no designated photo area, I ended up shooting this show from the general admission pit with the fans. The lighting was relatively dim, so f/2.8 glass was out and I went up to ISO 1600. Thanks to its modest telephoto reach and fast aperture, the Nikon 85mm f/1.4 made these images possible.
